A Bit About Us
Tequila Cafe opened in 1959 in Atwater, California. The owners and operators were my Grandparents John A. Perez and Felicitas Perez. My Grandparents passed on the restaurant to my Dad, John Perez, and my Mom, Eloisa Perez, and my Uncle, Jess. They opened in 1959 in Winton, on one side of the tracks and later my Dad and Uncle moved it to the other side of the tracks.
In 2016 my sister, Michelle R. Perez reopened the restaurant and finally in 2017 I, Ferman F. Perez, was given ownership of my family's restaurant. This restaurant has been in my family for decades, and shall be for decades more, serving the same food, with the same tradition, and the same great quality. We look forward to serving you.
